Info from the School Nurses!

Our FLU Clinic will be held October 14, 2025. Permission forms are being sent home with students.Virtual Students will receive their form in the mail. Permission forms must be returned by October 7th. ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE.

All students Kindergarten through 12th will need the following:
- 4 doses of DTaP, with the 4th being after their 4th birthday
- 3 doses of Polio (OPV), with the 3rd being after their 4th birthday
- 2 doses of Varicella (chickenpox)
- 2 doses of MMR
- 3 doses of Hepatitis B
Additionally:
- Kindergarten – 1 dose of Hepatitis A
- 1st Grade – 2 doses of Hepatitis A
- 11-year-olds – 1 dose of Tdap
- 7th Grade – 1 dose of Meningococcal vaccine
- 16-year-olds – 2 doses of Meningococcal vaccine (if the first dose is given on or after age 16, only 1 dose is required)

It is a state requirement that every kindergarten student receive a physical from their physician within a year ofentering kindergarten. If you received a letter-please be sure to call and make an appointment for that.

The nurses want to remind parents that if a child has a temperature, they must be fever free for atleast 24 hours before returning to school.

Body Mass Index Reports are available upon request.
